r/GoneWildAudioGay is the male-for-male half of the Reddit audio scene: 2,175 posts by 441 different voices, from a subreddit that barely existed before 2025 and now fills faster than almost any other audio community on the site. It is also the community with the best survival rate we have measured, and the number is still only 11.7 percent.

This page is the audit. We took every r/GoneWildAudioGay post our importer holds, opened the media row behind each one, and counted what is actually left: which posts still have a file, which ones point at a page that has been emptied, and which ones never had a link we could follow at all. Then we checked the survivors one by one, because a link that answers 200 with an empty body is not a recording. Twenty-four of them are listed below by name, and every one of those returned real audio today.

Everything here was measured on 2026-11-03 against the soundkino.com import of 71,098 Reddit posts, with 4,498 media rows that resolve to a playable file.

What the archive actually contains

Three numbers describe the community and they point in different directions.

2,175 posts exist in the import, written by 441 accounts. That is the second largest gay-audio community we hold and the fourth largest audio subreddit overall. Of those posts, 344 carry a media row, which is 15.8 percent. Of the 344 media rows, 255 are in a playable state and point at a file that exists, which is 11.7 percent of the subreddit.

The remaining 89 rows are the interesting part. 45 of them carry an error, which means the importer found a link but the host no longer serves the file behind it. 44 are posts with no audio link at all, usually text posts, requests or verification posts. And the 1,831 posts with no media row are posts whose link we never managed to resolve, because the host in front of them does not answer a machine.

The year split explains most of the shape:

The subreddit went from 561 posts in 2025 to 1,551 in 2026. All 255 playable recordings come from 2025 and 2026, which is not a statement about older recordings being worse, it is a statement about hosts: older posts point at pages that have since been emptied, and a file that has been deleted cannot be recovered by any importer.

Every single playable file in this community sits on soundgasm.net. There is no mirror, no second host, and no fallback. One host, 255 files.

The survival rate, compared

11.7 percent sounds bad until you look at the neighbours. This is the same measurement applied to every audio subreddit we hold, in one table, on one day:

Two things fall out of that table. First, r/GoneWildAudioGay is the healthiest large community in the set: 11.7 percent of its posts resolve to a playable file, ahead of r/gonewildaudio at 8.4 percent and r/GWASapphic at 7.8 percent. Second, the subreddits that look empty are not small, they are unreachable: r/pillowtalkaudio holds 4,780 posts and 20 playable files, r/GWAScriptGuild holds 2,548 posts and none at all.

That gap is not a content problem. It is a link problem. The communities with a high survival rate are the ones whose posters used a host our importer can follow; the ones at zero used hosts that answer a browser and nothing else. The recordings may well still exist. We cannot promise that, and a page that pretends otherwise is worth less than one that says which files it actually opened.

The 24 recordings that play

What follows is the top of the playable set, ordered by the Reddit score the post carried when we last read it. Score is not quality and it is not today's number; it is the only public signal the archive has, and it is stated here so that the order can be checked rather than trusted.

Two formats dominate: original content and script fills, which between them account for 194 of the 255 playable files (Original Content 152, Script Fill 42, Improvisation 22, Trigger Warning 16, New Voice 8). Improvisation is the third, and it is over-represented at the top of the table, because an unscripted recording tends to run longer and get shared more.

Who to follow

The archive is not evenly spread. Fourteen accounts hold 131 of the 255 playable files, and the difference between them is mostly how much of their own back catalogue survived:

The share column is the honest one. u/whisperboyy and u/itsunno_ sit at the top of it, with five of six and eleven of fourteen posts still playable, which is the closest this community gets to a complete archive. u/grinningpup has the largest absolute count at 24 and the lowest share of the leaders, because 142 posts is a long back catalogue and the oldest entries are the ones that go first.

Every one of those names is a profile on this site, linked above, and every profile lists what is playable in one place. That is a different page type from this one: the profile answers "what else does this voice have", and this page answers "what exists at all".

What arrived in the last three months

Recency is measurable here in a way it is not on a general archive, because the import runs continuously:

• 14 playable files from posts made in the last 7 days
• 63 in the last 30 days
• 80 in the last 90 days

So the community is not a museum. It publishes faster than the old material decays, which is the only reason the archive grows at all: 80 new playable files in a quarter against a back catalogue that loses files every month.

How to check any link yourself

The reason this page lists names rather than only counts is that a count cannot be verified and a link can. Three checks, in this order, will settle any row in the table above:

1. Open the recording page and confirm it renders a player rather than a redirect. All 24 pages linked here returned HTTP 200 and contained an audio element when we checked them today.
2. Confirm the file behind it is real, not an empty placeholder. We fetched every one of the 24 media URLs directly and all 24 answered 200 with a body between 12.1 and 38.3 megabytes. An empty listing page on the same host also answers 200, so the body size is the check, not the status code.
3. If a row ever stops working, the host is the reason and not this page. Every file here is on soundgasm.net, so a dead file means the uploader removed it.

Why this page exists

We publish this because of a gap between what people search for and what is on offer. In the week to 2026-11-02 this site served 18,498 impressions across 1,415 pages in Google, against 163 impressions the week before. 36 of those queries name this community or its direction, they produced 708 impressions and 10 clicks, and the headline query, "gonewildaudiogay", produced 507 impressions and 4 clicks at an average position of 4.0.

Four clicks from 507 impressions at position four is not a ranking problem. It is a page-type problem: Google answers a brand query with one individual recording, and one recording is not what the searcher wants. What they want is the shape of the archive, which is what this page is.

One honest caveat, because it belongs in the same paragraph as the numbers. Google gives this blog arm zero impressions, week after week, while the same pages collect 575 of the 1,042 organic sessions in our top landing pages from DuckDuckGo, Bing and Yandex. The blog earns its traffic elsewhere. This post is written for the engines that already send people to it, and for the internal links it puts into 24 recording pages that Google does crawl.
